30 for 30
Y'all. 30 is almost here and I'm a birthday loving person. This is a big milestone birthday so you know I'm going to capitalize on that opportunity! Also - this was a fun list for me to create and I'm curious...does anything on here surprise you? Here's 30 facts about me...
Chad and I only dated 5 months before getting engaged! When you know, you know (also, this was a huge indicator of how we'd make our life choices. Why wait?!?)
We sold our home and almost moved to Alaska almost 5 years ago.
I majored in Exercise Science and started my own personal training business.
I once created a month long curriculum and course, marketed it and filled the class in 72 hours. I like working and executing ideas!
I've completed a 15 mile Ruck (20 lbs on my back!) in the pouring rain...nearly sobbing, but I DID IT.
I almost competed on a Roller Derby team, my name would have be UnLeasha!
I share a birthday with my best friend!
I would love to have purple hair.
I took what I thought was a distance cycling class in college and it ended up being a velodrum racing class.
I have not seen a lot of classic movies (think Star Wars) and I don't like superhero movies.
I have a pair of sweatpants that I LOVE that are a beautiful teal....and also my dads from his college years.
I worked at Chick-fil-a in college and occasionally was the cow!
I do not like meatloaf. A loaf of meat is literally disgusting. And no, I won't like your moms recipe either.

One of my biggest fears is for people to think me or my motives are not genuine and authentic.
I grew up wanted to be Celine Dion. I came kinda close, I guess. lol
I wanted 4 kids, until I had 1. Then I just wanted 2. Bailey and Barrett, I delight in you!
I really enjoy doodling. You'll be hard pressed to find a sheet of paper on my desk that doesn't have doodles.
I frequently wear pigtails, jumpsuits, glitter and sequins...on purpose.
I'm 5 and 6 years older than my sisters, which means we are SUPER close now and I love it!
Throughout college I worked Summer camp each Summer and met most of my lifelong friends there.
My favorite travel destinations thus far have been Alaska, Greece and Ecuador!
I went to the University of South Carolina and attended almost every home football game all four years.
When I was 19 I took a solo trip to New York City for a few days and it's one of my favorite personal memories.
My dream is to teach and coach large groups with a beautiful, full network of women who inspire one another.
I camped out at a grand opening of a Chic-fil-a for 24 hours and won free food for a year.
I sponsored two girls in Ecuador through Compassion International and wrote to them monthly for many years. I was able to take a trip to Ecuador and meet them face to face and I will never stop advocating for the work of Compassion.
If I were given the opportunity to hike the entire Appalachian Trail, I would not think twice about doing it.
In college I partnered with and served International Students at USC as a conversation partner.
Turning 30 doesn't scare me. Let's do it!
